Hosted by the Government of Morocco, the Fifth Arab Regional Platform for Disaster Risk Reduction will be organized under the theme “From Risk to Resilience: Accelerating Local Action for Disaster Risk Reduction”, as a virtual event from 8 to 11 November 2021.
Following the success of the Africa-Arab Regional Platform on Disaster Risk Reduction, and building on the outcomes of the sixth session of the Global Platform for Disaster Risk Reduction in 2019, the Fifth Arab Regional Platform for Disaster Risk Reduction is organized by the United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNDRR), Regional Office for the Arab States (ROAS), in collaboration with the League of Arab States (LAS).
